What would be worse? Walking through a typically crowded hallway to your next class, or having to walk into class late with all eyes upon you?

In the crowded halls, you might escape notice by careful maneuvering, looking away, blocking your face, and hopefully get into your seat with no one noticing. Unlikely, but possible The chance of being pounded as a freak if you are caught in the halls is pretty high, though.

Coming in late to class means everyone in the classroom will be looking at you as soon as the door opens. The hope is for someone who will distract the teacher from holding class, or even entertainment value as the tardy student has to deal with the teacher. Imagine the class' glee if a fully made up boy tried to slip in!

Following from last episode's real life tale, I walked through crowded halls (actually outdoor sidewalks and balconies) to get to chapel with my face glowing red under the paints and powders. Being a religious based school, I was not overly worried about getting my ass kicked, but the verbal taunts were just as harsh.

After chapel, following the orders of that teacher, I went to the restroom and scrubbed the make up off as best I could. I was no stranger to hastily removing make up, as I had played in my sister's stash on many occasions. At least at home I had paper towels to help. Here was only water and toilet paper ... the school had mechanical hand blowers to dry hands.

I was late to my next class, pink faced and sheepish. The teacher asked me why I was late. I answered I had to use the washroom. To which one of the boys in class called out, "Yeah, he had to wash his make-up off!"

This prompted laughter, hoots, and hollers from those in the class who had not yet heard of the incident, or had and did not know who the unlucky made up boy was. Plus, I had to recount to the teacher what happened after he asked why I had been wearing make-up.

He smiled and told the class to settle down and leave me alone about it. Then he followed up with, "Just don't fall asleep in my class, Mr. <lastname>. I'm sure one of these girls has some nail polish they'd be willing to share with you, if you do."
